Lara Slabber grew up in Cape Town, South Africa, but now lives on the Philadelphia Main Line with their wife and four naughty cats. When they aren’t busy writing about queer characters falling in love or going on fantastical adventures, Lara can be found sewing pink dresses, crocheting dinosaurs, or rebinding their favorite books.  

Lara graduated from Rosemont College with an MFA in Creative Writing and their short fiction has been published in All Worlds Wayfarer and Wyldblood Press.
